Synopsis & Scene Breakdown

The story follows James Carter, a man whose seemingly perfect life begins to fracture. As visual artifacts bleed into his morning routine, he discovers his reality is not what it seems.

  • The Setup: James navigates a hyper-realistic world that feels comfortable but slightly "off," highlighting the uncanny valley of artificial memories.
  • The Glitch: The environment around him begins to distort, revealing the digital nature of his existence.
  • The Resolution: Instead of fleeing, James realizes he is not a victim of the simulation, but the author with the power to rewrite it.

How We Used Google Veo

Creating REWRITTEN required pushing the boundaries of generative video. By leveraging Google Veo's advanced understanding of natural language and cinematic physics, we were able to achieve:

  • Consistent Character Identity: We utilized specific prompt seeds to ensure James Carter maintained visual consistency across different shots and lighting environments.
  • Surreal Textures: The "glitch" effects were not post-production overlays but generated natively by prompting for "digital fracturing" and "liquid reality" within the Veo model.
  • Cinematic Lighting: Prompts focused heavily on "volumetric lighting" and "anamorphic lens flares" to give the AI footage a traditional film look.
