    Synopsis & Scene Breakdown

The story follows James Carter, a man whose seemingly perfect life begins to fracture. As visual artifacts bleed into his morning routine, he discovers his reality is not what it seems.

    • The Setup: James navigates a hyper-realistic world that feels comfortable but slightly "off," highlighting the uncanny valley of artificial memories.
    • The Glitch: The environment around him begins to distort, revealing the digital nature of his existence.
    • The Resolution: Instead of fleeing, James realizes he is not a victim of the simulation, but the author with the power to rewrite it.

Behind the Scenes: How We Used Google Veo

Creating REWRITTEN required pushing the boundaries of generative video. Unlike traditional CGI which builds models, Google Veo "dreams" the video based on textual understanding of cinematic physics. Here is how we achieved the specific effects seen in the film:

    1. Controlling Consistency

One of the hardest challenges in AI video is keeping the character looking the same from shot to shot. We utilized seed-locking techniques and highly specific prompt descriptors (e.g., "James Carter, 35, short stubble, blue t-shirt") to ensure continuity across different lighting environments, from the bright kitchen to the dark car interior.

    2. The "Digital Fracture" Effect

The glitch effects were not added in post-production. They were generated natively by the AI. We used prompts like "reality distorting into pixels," "liquid digital texture," and "databamoshing" within the Veo model. This forced the AI to hallucinate the breakdown of the image, creating a more organic, unsettling "broken reality" look than standard VFX plugins could achieve.

    3. Cinematic Lighting

To give the film a premium feel, prompts focused heavily on lighting terminology such as "volumetric lighting," "anamorphic lens flares," and "deep depth of field." This tricked the AI into mimicking the characteristics of high-end cinema cameras.
